We are just a few days away from the PLM Summit, taking place February 4-6, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero in San Francisco, and we have some great things in store for our attendees. It is going to be an action-packed 2 1/2 day event. Read on to find out more about the customer presentations and networking activities that we have in store for you, or download the updated PLM schedule here:
Monday, February 4: Registration, Opening General Session and Networking
Registration opens at 1pm on Monday at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero, so make sure to allow yourself enough time to pick up your badge before the first opening session. The first big keynote of the day will be from Rick Jewell, Senior Vice President of Applications Development at Oracle, who will discuss Oracle's value chain vision. He will be followed by legendary football broadcaster, John Madden, who I'm sure will have some entertaining analysis following the Super Bowl (go Niners!!). After John Madden's keynote, from 5:30pm-7pm, attendees will get their first opportunity to network with all of our Oracle partners and to check out the many Oracle demo stations. Enjoy the night, but don't stay out too late as we have a full day of educational sessions and stories for you on Tuesday!
Tuesday, February 5: General Sessions, AGILITY Awards, Partner Networking and Oracle Demo Pods
Breakfast starts bright and early at 7am, with our first keynote of the day starting at 8:00am. Jon Chorley, Oracle's Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President, Supply Chain Management, will kick off the day with a presentation on the sustainable value chain. Following Jon will be presentation by economist and former U.S. Secretary of Labor, Robert Reich. After this keynote, attendees will head to their individual product general sessions. In the PLM General Session, John Kelley, VP of PLM Product Strategy will discuss Agile PLM's product strategy and roadmap, followed by presentations from PLM partners Deloitte and Kalypso. We will be wrapping up this general session by announcing our 2013 Oracle Excellence in PLM AGILITY Awards. We look forward to recognizing several of our customers with this award.
One of the suggestions we received following last year's PLM Summit is that there was not enough networking time for customers, so we've made sure to allow for plenty of networking time this year, so be sure to take advantage of it. During lunches and breaks, be sure to visit with all of our PLM partners, including KPIT, Deloitte, Kalypso, IBM, GoEngineer, Perception Software, Hitachi Consulting, Domain, Verdant, PLM XL by Xavor and ZeroWaitState. And make sure to visit our PLM demo pods--we have pods covering PLM for High Tech/Semi, PLM for LifeSciences and PLM for Process and Consumer Goods. In addition, don't miss our demo pods covering Fusion Product Hub and AutoVue.
