The Operate Hardware workflow is one of the workflow documents that we added a while back. It covers how to keep hardware running.
It's a very simple workflow:
The left side covers the prereqs - you need to have deployed libraries and hardware before beginning this workflow.
Next, it covers how to operate the hardware that you have. There are really only two steps in this process - Keeping Your Firmware Up-to-date and, if you want to configure RAID controllers, Configuring RAID Controllers. Once you've seen those docs, your next step is to go on to the Monitor and Manage Incidents Workflow, which talks about how to stay aware of hardware incidents and respond effectively to them.
