Dear WebLogic partner community members,
Thanks to everyone who attended the Fusion Middleware Partner Community Forum 2013. The event was a big success and we saw participation from 125 attendees. Special thanks to all presenters for the great presentations and workshops. Those who could not make it to Faro, all the presentations from the keynotes, general sessions and the 3 tracks: SOA, BPM and WebLogic & ADF are available at our WebLogic Community Workspace (WebLogic Community membership required), except the SOA Suite 12c beta demo – what you missed!
Congratulations to the winners(Jon, Leon, Hajo, Simon and Jan) of the Fusion Middleware Partner Community Awards! It was very hard to choose the winners. For me the whole Community is the winner!
Thanks to Glen Hawkins. The key focus of this month’s newsletter is manageability. All Fusion Middleware components are based on WebLogic, therefore it is a key that you know how to run and manage WebLogic. As a first step we offer many on-demand trainings – make sure you attend them!
The second major topics in this month’s newsletter is the availability of WebLogic on the Oracle Database Machine (ODA). As pre-announced at the Community Forum, WebLogic is available at the Oracle Database Appliance. This is a wonderful opportunity to consolidate both database and middleware infrastructure of our joint customers in one machine. As a first step we would like to invite you to watch our on-demand webcast. We would like to invite you to join our launch webcast on April 3rd, 2013.
Arrow, one of the Oracle distributor offers you demo machines for SIs to run customer POCs and for ISVs to test their applications.
Specially for our US readers JAXConf goes free. The conference is taking place on 4th - 5th June 2013 in Santa Clara, CA, where you will see more than 40 talks from experts within the Java/JVM space.
