Oracle Application Integration Architecture for Communications OverviewSelf Study Course Available!
I introduced Jodie Wilford, Oracle Communications OSS/AIA InfoDev Director, a few blogs ago when she wrote about updates to the OSS documentation set. In this blog, she talks about the Oracle Application Integration Architecture for Communications Overview course that's now available.
Course Overview:
Oracle Application Integration Architecture for Communications (AIA) is a framework that helps you orchestrate business processes across enterprise applications.
AIA enables you to:
- Build integration artifacts and flows that connect applications
- Automate business functions or processes
For example, you can use AIA to improve the order capture and fulfillment process. The order capture process starts in a customer relationship management system and then proceeds to an order management system for further fulfillment. You use AIA to build the interfaces and flows to automate, streamline, and improve the above process.
AIA provides the AIA Foundation Pack which consists of components that enable you to use SOA-based, pre-built integrations that productize business functions between applications.
