On June 5th we are announcing a lower price for the 32 GB DIMMs used on the SPARC T5 and T4 servers, and of the X-Option parts used on the SPARC M5-32 server. Price reductions on these memory components make it more cost effective for customers to provision servers with high memory footprint, and achieve high application consolidation ratios. Oracle and partner sales teams should encourage customers to consider and adopt 32 GB DIMMs when purchasing SPARC servers.
