Oracle's Paul O'Riordan presents at the Oracle BA Summit 2014 |
The Oracle Business Analytics Summit in London has become the premier event for customers to connect with each other, learn from each other and discover best practice on how to get the most out of their investment in Oracle’s business intelligence solutions. The Summit this year showcased Oracle’s uniquely integrated approach to business analytics- the only solution that covers all aspects of the big data and analytics lifecycle.
“It’s the biggest event in the country,” said one participant, “If you have anything to do with analytics, this is the place to be; everyone’s here!”
The February event is documented in this video, capturing the rich value of the presentations, the networking and the partner exhibits. Over 500 participants heard 11 customer case studies and listened to discussions of the central focus topics: In Memory analytics and optimized hardware.
“The defining feature of this summit is that customers themselves present their stories,” said Nick Whitehead, BI&W Business Development Senior Director. “Their successes and challenges are what many people come to hear.”
Sir Clive Woodward, former England rugby player and legendary figure in British sport, gave a keynote in which he drew a parallel to winning in sports and business. “In business the margin between winning and losing gets smaller and smaller so whoever wins in IT tends to win in business,” he commented.
